Minneapolis Event Photographer | Bash for Nash

Earlier this year I attended Bash for Nash, a fundraiser event, with Erin Johnson Photography for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a disease that attacks the muscles and usually children who have it pass away before they are 30. A very sad and serious disease. In light of that, the event was inspiring and uplifting to know that a difference is being made and there is hope for the future. All of the money raised that night went to the trial of a new drug to help slow and possibly defeat the disease. First they auctioned off a variety of items and when the DJ showed up, the party started!

I love this family! Getting together with them is always a guaranteed good time. That little man with his big blue eyes gets me. I am a little bias of course, since I am related, but man! Check out how handsome he is!

This was such a fun session at a park in the town where my cousin and I grew up. I really enjoyed going back there and playing in the park with her little guy. 

Minneapolis Wedding Photographer | Lindsey and Paul

This was such an amazing wedding. I know, you're thinking, "Amazing you say? How is that?" First of all, Lindsey and Paul are my good friends and it was such an honor that they asked me to capture their day. They had a beautiful day for their wedding as well, even though it had snowed twelve inches or so two days before their wedding AND it was the end of April. Crazy weather, but they both stayed calm through it all. Their energy and unpredictability throughout the day, from everyone at the wedding, provided lots of excitement. From the wedding party playing flip cup, to the groom busting out his guitar and playing for the guests, and last but certainly not least the bride's family performing a flash mob for Paul. Such an awesome day with a couple that is truly perfect for each other!
